OUR EXPERTISE

It’s a new era for entertainment law – one featuring greater inclusivity and a shift in focus to digital media. With 20+ years of legal experience in film, television, and music, and proudly representing one of the largest rosters of digital media influencers in the country, Sharma Law has been shaping and navigating the legal landscape for content creators, influencers, and gamers within every social and streaming platform since 2013. From YouTube to Instagram to TikTok, we are quick to adapt to each new digital platform and remain at the forefront when it comes to structuring deals and contracts. However, our expertise does not end at the small screen; our clients also benefit from more than two decades of legal experience in film, television, and music.

OUR MISSION

At Sharma Law, our mission is to empower and protect talent and creative companies so they can realize their full growth potential. The archetypal inaccessible, overcharging lawyer does not exist here. We’ve done away with complex jargon and fee structures, and take pride in making the complicated simple. We take the time to explain the fine print to clients. Communication, transparency, and accessibility are at the core of how we do business.

OUR APPROACH

We are more than just attorneys. We are also creatives, with hands-on experience producing digital media, television, film and music. This sets us apart as entertainment lawyers and gives us a unique understanding when it comes to the entertainment industry, our clients, and deal making. Antiquated approaches to entertainment law don’t work in the fast-paced world of likes, followers, and 24/7 content creation. Digital talent, influencers, and creative companies require niche experience from a creative legal team that knows how to adapt to the ever-evolving new media landscape. More than 90% of our client base comes from word-of-mouth referrals. Sharma Law is committed to bringing greater transparency, responsiveness, and clarity to the legal process.
